The flow rate of your plumbing system is important to consider. You need it for a good shower, and generally for the efficient working of the system.
Some water softeners introduce an unnecessary drop in pressure, because the flow rate through the softener itself is low. It’s difficult for the water to get through the softener.
Because our softener uses both of its tanks almost all of the time, the water flows much more easily through the softener.
In addition, our displacement meter doesn’t get in the way of the water the same way the old-fashioned turbine meters do. These factors together make for the highest flow rate you’ll find in a comparable softener.
